Greece issued 3 billion euros ($3.46 billion) in the syndicated tap of the 3.375% June 2036-dated government bond on Wednesday, one of the lead manager banks said.

Books for the transaction closed in excess of 36 billion euros, while the spread on the bond was set at mid-swaps plus 68 basis points, the same bank said.

Alpha Bank, Barclays, Citi, Commerzbank, Nomura and Societe Generale were the lead managers of the issuance.
