Infrastructure company GRK Infra, alongside its partners in the Turku Tramway Alliance, has been appointed to construct the first phase of the Turku tramway following a decision by the city council, according to a press release.

The initial construction phase carries a budget of approximately 33 million euros, with GRK's share amounting to roughly 12 million euros.

The agreement is expected to be signed in September, at which point the project will be recognized in the order book.
