Gulf Development Public Company Limited has entered into a Public Private Partnership (PPP Gross Cost) agreement with the Department of Highways ("DOH") for the development of the M81 Intercity Motorway (Bang Yai-Kanchanaburi) project (M81), with a distance of 96 kilometers. The Company has invested in the project through BGSR 81 Company Limited ("BGSR 81"), a joint venture company in which the Company holds equity interest of 40% with BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited, and Ratch Group Public Company Limited, which hold equity interests of 40%, 10%, and 10%, respectively. The Company would like to inform the Stock Exchange of Thailand that, on January 16, 2026, the M81 has successfully commenced commercial operations.

BGSR 81 is the developer and is responsible for the implementation and operation of the project's core systems, including the toll collection system, the traffic management control system, the open-road toll collection system (M-Flow), as well as the safety systems along the entire route. The M81 is a strategic transportation infrastructure that plays an important role in the country's long-term development. The project will enhance connectivity between Bangkok and the metropolitan area and the western region, while also supporting future connections to the southern region.

In addition, it will help strengthen logistics efficiency, enhance economic competitiveness, reduce transportation costs, and improve the quality of life for the public through more convenient, efficient, and safer travel. Since October 2025, DOH has opened the M81 for trial operations along the entire route. During the trial period, the project recorded peak traffic volumes of more than 70,000 vehicles per day, reflecting strong public demand for the route and the project's solid potential.
