Havas has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Archrival, an American agency specializing in youth culture dynamics and experiential activations. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The deal further expands the Havas Play offering in sports marketing, live experiences, brand partnerships, creator collaborations, and brand activation. This provides clients with new opportunities to cultivate brand desirability and strengthen audience engagement while driving measurable growth.
Founded in 1997, Archrival has developed programs rooted in culture, bridging the gap between brands and younger generations through sports, campus activations, ambassador networks, and immersive experiences. The agency currently supports brands such as adidas, Red Bull, Netflix, Snapchat, Spotify, Tinder, and EA.
Together, Havas Play and Archrival will offer advertisers an expanded suite of capabilities covering sports marketing, creator collaborations, experiential activation, brand partnerships, ambassador programs, gaming, and community-led brand building.
Combined with the Havas Converged.AI operating system, Archrival's expertise in campus activations, ambassador networks, and field engagement will allow clients to identify emerging cultural signals more quickly, activate communities with greater impact, and transform engagement into measurable business results.
