Heineken Chief Executive Dolf van den Brink will step down at the end of May after almost six years leading the brewer.
The Dutch brewer said Monday that van den Brink will step down May 31 and that it will begin the process to appoint his successor.
His departure comes as Heineken begins to implement the next phase of its 'EverGreen' strategy.
Van den Brink will remain available in an advisory capacity for an eight-month period from June 1., the company said.
