Helios Towers PLC is a United Kingdom-based independent telecoms tower infrastructure company in Africa. The Company owns and operates telecommunications towers and infrastructure in African markets. The Company's business lies in building, acquiring and operating telecommunications towers that can accommodate the needs of its multiple tenants. These tenants are typically mobile network operators (MNOs) and other telecommunications providers who in turn provide wireless voice and data services, primarily to end-consumers and businesses. The Company also offers tower-related operational services, including site selection, site preparation, maintenance, security and power management. In addition, it constructs new assets including build-to-suit (BTS) towers, and localized small cell and in-building solutions.
