(Alliance News) - The Mib is posting a strong bullish performance, reaching 46,400 points on Tuesday and hitting a new all-time high at 46,500.19. This rally has also been fueled by optimism stemming from the trade agreement between the USA and India.

President Donald Trump immediately reduced the reciprocal tariff on Indian imports from 25% to 18%, in exchange for India halting imports of Russian oil.

On the geopolitical front, the USA and Iran are set to resume nuclear negotiations on Friday, with both parties aiming to ease tensions. Meanwhile, investors are closely monitoring the upcoming monetary policy decision from the ECB, which is expected, according to forecasts, to keep interest rates unchanged.

As a result, the Mib is up 1.0% at 46,454.10 points.

Other markets are also positive, with the CAC 40 up 0.6%, the DAX 40 rising 1.1%, and the FTSE 100 gaining 0.2%.

Among the smaller indices, the Mid-Cap slips 0.3% to 60,278.84, the Small-Cap drops 0.9% to 36,770.83, and Italy Growth is marginally in the red at 8,789.65 points.

On Piazza Affari, UniCredit - leading the pack with a 2.6% gain - announced Tuesday that between January 26 and 30, it purchased 1.9 million of its own ordinary shares at an average price of EUR72.9585, for a total value of EUR135.3 million.

Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena also attracted buying, rising 1.9%, on track for its fourth consecutive bullish candle. The renewal of Monte dei Paschi di Siena's board of directors is entering its crucial phase, with the vote scheduled for the April 15 shareholders' meeting. The extraordinary meeting is set to approve statutory changes, including the introduction of the board's list.

Initial indications from proxy advisors point to participation exceeding 70%, with funds accounting for around 60% of the free float; the resolution will require a two-thirds majority.

BPER Banca climbs 1.6% to EUR12.47 per share, marking its fourth straight positive session.

Leonardo gains 0.9% to EUR56.44. Notably, Barclays has raised its target price to EUR53.00 from EUR52.00.

Additionally, the Italian company and Adani Defence & Aerospace announced Tuesday the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. According to the released statement, through this agreement the two partners will create an integrated industrial ecosystem for helicopters in India, meeting the growing demand from the domestic military market and supporting the country toward self-sufficiency in helicopter production.

Among the few decliners, Amplifon stands out, falling 4.6% after three sessions ending with bullish candles.

In the Mid-Cap segment, Technoprobe advances 3.2% to EUR16.00 per share, after a 0.7% loss in the previous session.

Danieli & C rises 2.1% to EUR64.10, following up on the previous day's gain of 1.9%.

MAIRE, down 0.1%, reported Tuesday that Tecnimont and Baker Hughes have signed a non-exclusive memorandum of understanding to explore cooperation opportunities on modular and scalable global liquefied natural gas projects. According to the press release, under the agreement the two companies will consider several LNG initiatives that incorporate Baker Hughes's NMBL LNG modular solution for liquefaction projects.

Juventus Football Club, down 2.0%, announced Monday it had reached an agreement with Bologna FC 1909 for the temporary, free acquisition until June 30 of the rights to the sporting services of player Emil Alfons Holm. The agreement also grants Juventus the option to acquire the player's rights on a permanent basis.

PharmaNutra, steady at EUR62.10, remains one of TP ICAP Midcap's Top Picks, with the broker confirming a 'buy' rating and an unchanged target price of EUR74.00, representing a 17% upside potential from current levels. The rating reflects the strong operating momentum of SiderAL, which continues to strengthen its presence in the USA at the start of 2026. The stock has a market capitalization of EUR601.2 million and a free float of about 34.25%.

In terms of valuation, the P/E ratio is estimated at 31.1x for 2025 and 25.1x for 2026, while the EV/revenue ratio stands at 4.46x for 2025 and 3.8x for 2026.

On the Small-Cap segment, Beewize gains 3.3% to EUR0.3490.

Sabaf, up 0.4% at EUR13.70, reported Monday it had purchased 8,260 of its own ordinary shares between January 26 and 30. The shares were acquired at an average price of EUR13.6576 each, for a total value of EUR113,000.

OPS Retail, in volatility auction, announced Monday that Global Capital Investments subscribed the second tranche, worth EUR200,000, of the convertible bond loan of up to EUR14.5 million, as provided for in the agreements of December 21, 2025. In summary, the issuance of the second of 145 planned tranches under the agreement led to the subscription of 40 bonds with a unit value of EUR5,000, at an issue price equal to 100% of the nominal value.

Industrie de Nora drops 8.9%, after a 0.5% decline in the previous session.

Among SMEs, Digitouch rises 3.4% to EUR1.84, after an 8.9% drop the previous day. The stock, with a market capitalization of about EUR6.3 million, is estimated on the MarketScreener platform to have a P/E ratio of 15x for 2025.

Ecomembrane, up 1.6%, announced Monday it had signed a partnership agreement with Lucky-Tech Membranes Private, a leading Indian operator in the construction of tensile structures and PVC storage systems, aimed at developing common synergies and sharing know-how and technologies.

Doxee, up 3.0%, reported that the board has reviewed preliminary figures for fiscal year 2025, which closed with sales revenues between EUR30.7 million and EUR31.0 million, up more than 15% from EUR26.5 million in 2024, thanks mainly to the excellent performance in the DACH region and the positive trend in the Italian market, supported by repositioning in the top enterprise segment.

In New York, during the European evening, the Dow Jones gained 1.1%, the S&P 500 rose 0.5%, and the Nasdaq advanced 0.6%.

On the currency front, the euro is trading at USD1.1789 from USD1.1802 at Monday's close in European equities, while the pound is trading at USD1.3662 from USD1.3648 on Monday evening.

Among commodities, Brent is trading at USD66.32 per barrel from USD66.12 on Monday, while gold is valued at USD4,917.00 an ounce, from USD4,675.45 an ounce on Monday evening.

On Tuesday's economic calendar, in the USA, the consumer economic optimism index will be released at 1510 CET, while at 1700 CET, Italy's car registrations, both annual and monthly, will be published.
