InterDigital Shares Rise on Patent License Deal With Amazon

InterDigital shares rose after the company reached a patent license deal with Amazon.

The stock rose 10% to $280 Thursday morning. Shares are still down 12% this year.

The deal resolves pending patent-infringement litigation against Amazon and covers Prime Video and other Amazon services and devices, the company said.

Amazon and InterDigital will enter binding arbitration to decide on the final terms of the agreement, InterDigital said.
