NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Broker) - US bank JPMorgan has slightly lowered its price target for RTL to 34 euros and downgraded the stock from "Neutral" to "Underweight." Overall, concerns about disruptions caused by artificial intelligence (AI) are overstated and its opportunities underestimated, wrote Daniel Kerven and Lara Simpson in their outlook for Europe's media sector released Wednesday. In this context, they favor Relx, Universal Media, Pearson, and Publicis. The outlook for RTL and shares of the French broadcaster M6 is pessimistic. The analysts have cut their estimates for advertising revenues, fear increased competition from the Football World Cup, and consider current valuations to be rather stretched. For RTL, they have also reduced their dividend forecast and expect the company will have to scale back its subscriber targets for 2026./ag/zb
