JPMorgan European Discovery Trust plc announced the appointment of MR CHRISTIAAN MICHIEL JASKIi as an independent Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 9th February 2026. The appointment was made after a thorough selection process undertaken with the assistance of a third party independent search consultancy. Mr. Jaski brings a wealth of experience from his career in executive and non-executive roles across leading European businesses.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Faber Group, Unica Group, and Rhoon, Pendrecht en Cortgene. He also served on the Supervisory Board of AKZO Nobel until April 2021. Mr. Jaski's executive career includes serving as CEO of Officefirst Immobilien AG, where he led the company through a successful sale to Blackstone in March 2017, and CEO of Grontmij N.V., where he implemented a major turnaround strategy and supported its acquisition by Sweco.
He has also held senior positions at Arcadis N.V., Shell and Philips. Mr. Jaski holds an MBA from INSEAD and an M.Sc. in Hydraulics and Hydrology from Wageningen University.
