Real estate company Klövern appointed Mathias Wallestam as its new CEO on Monday, effective March 16. This is an internal promotion, as he currently serves as Deputy CEO and CFO.
Klövern's new Chairman, equity veteran Anders Oscarsson, stated in an interview with Fastighetsnytt that the leadership change is part of the preparations for the company's upcoming return to the stock market. Oscarsson previously served as Head of Equities at AMF for many years.
No specific timeline for the IPO has been set yet.
In the summer of 2021, Klövern was taken private by Corem, controlled by real estate mogul Rutger Arnhult. Corem subsequently reduced its stake in 2025 and now holds an 8 percent share in Klövern. Today, Urban Partners (formerly Nrep) is the largest shareholder with a 76 percent stake. The second-largest shareholder is Joakim Alm, holding 14 percent of the shares.
