Kunlun Energy Company Limited announced that Mr. Sun Patrick, an independent non-executive director, the chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company and a member of each of the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee of the Company, has been designated as the lead independent non-executive director with effect from March 24, 2026. Mr. Sun?s primary responsibility as the Lead INED is to facilitate and strengthen communication to enable shareholders to understand the actions taken by the INEDs in the performance of their responsibilities, as an intermediary between directors and shareholders and enhance the communications among the INEDs and between the INEDs and the rest of the Board. The Lead INED is not an executive position in the Company and does not have any management role in the Company and its subsidiaries.
