STOCKHOLM--Medical device developer Laborie agreed to buy a specialist system developed to stop bleeding for up to $465 million from Organon.

Laborie is owned by Patricia Industries, a subsidiary of Swedish investment and holding company Investor AB.

Under the deal, Laborie will buy the Jada System for $440 million at closing plus up to a further $25 million contingent on certain 2026 revenue targets.

The Jada System is used to treat abnormal bleeding after childbirth and is currently used in more than 20 countries globally.
