Lancer Container Lines Limited announced that upon the recommendations made by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors at their meeting held October 29, 2025 has approved the following: Revocation of Appointment of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer: The Board noted that Ms. Gauri Datta Gaikwad who was appointed as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company in the Board Meeting held on Monday, October 20, 2025, has, with mutual consent, decided not to proceed with the said appointment. Accordingly, her appointment has been revoked with mutual consent and shall be treated as null and void. Appointment of New Company Secretary and Compliance Officer: The board approved the appointment of Ms. Jinal Thakkar as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer (Key Managerial Personnel) of the Company with effect from Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in accordance with provisions Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Regulation 6(1) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Brief profile: Ms. Jinal Thakkar is a qualified Company Secretary with over 2.5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial and compliance functions of listed entities. She has wide exposure to SEBI (LODR) Regulations, MCA compliances, Board and Committee governance, and coordination with regulatory authorities. She has handled SEBI and MCA filings, event-based and annual compliances, corporate actions, and preparation of Annual Reports including BRSR and Sustainability Reports.
She has also gained experience in company incorporations, taxation, and audit support. She secured an All India Rank 17 in the CS Foundation Examination and she is proficient in MS Office, MCA-21, and BSE/NSE portals, with working knowledge of Tally and other compliance tools.
