International stocks trading in New York closed higher on Wednesday.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts edged up 1.8% to 122.27. The European index gained 2.2% to 113.95. The Asian index moved up 1.3% to 147.79. The Latin American index ticked up 1.2% to 174.76, while the emerging-markets index advanced 1.1% to 254.56.

Nano Labs Ltd. was among those whose ADRs traded actively.

The fabless integrated-circuit design company sank 34% after it said it was selling more than 2.08 million American depositary shares to raise $5 million in a public offering.

Swiss technology company ABB Ltd. rose 3.3% after it said it is investing $13 million in its Installation Products Division Iberville manufacturing facility in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, its second multimillion dollar investment in a Canadian site in the last 12 months.
