BioNTech SE's ADRs rose 5.5% alongside Covid-19 vaccine partner Pfizer Inc. after the pharmaceutical giant increased its forecast for sales of its Covid-19 vaccine this year to about $36 billion, a roughly 7% boost that comes as the U.S. prepares to distribute the shot for 28 million children aged 5 to 11 years old. The New York-based drugmaker said its sales projection for the vaccine it developed with partner BioNTech takes into account expected deliveries of about 2.3 billion vaccine doses this year.

BP PLC's ADRs tumbled 4.6% after the energy giant said it benefited from resurgent oil prices in the third quarter and that it would buy back more shares, though the company's profit was wiped out by an accounting issue.

Nippon Steel Corp.'s ADRs, which trade over the counter, rose 4.5% after the company raised its revenue and net-profit outlook for the fiscal year ending in March, citing the rise in steel product prices contributing to its bullish outlook.
