Schreiber, who has Ukrainian roots, said it was important to keep international attention on the war in Ukraine to generate a constant flow of donations.

He also said that Russia's attacks on civilian targets such as in Borodianka were "a coward's move" and that Ukraine was not fighting a "giant."

After their visit to Borodianka, Shevchenko and Schreiber were welcomed in the Ukrainian presidential office by Zelenskiy to further discuss the newly launched charity initiative.
