Armarda's associate achieves swift distribution of Thuraya mobile satellite phones for fast-growing China market

• CMSCG has delivered approximately 1,000 mobile satellite phone sets with SIM cards to its enterprise customers

• CMSCG has ordered an additional 1,000 sets of Thuraya XT mobile satellite phones and

1,000 sets of ThurayaSatSleeve to meet the growing market demand

• ThurayaSatSleeve, which was debuted in March 2013, is the world's first satellite adapter for iPhones

Singapore, 5 May 2013-China Mobile Satellite Communications Group Limited ("CMSCG" or "the Group"), announced today that it has successfully delivered approximately 1,000 sets of mobile satellite phones with SIM cards to the Group's enterprise customers, following the launch of itsThurayamobile satellite services in China.
In addition, due to the growing demand for the Group's mobile satellite phones in China, CMSCG has placed an additional order of 1,000 Thuraya XT mobile satellite phone sets and 1,000 ThurayaSatSleevein early May
2013.

Jimmy Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of CMSCG commented on the announcement, "Since the launch of the Thuraya mobile satellite services, we had received positive responses to the Thuraya's products and services in China for its capability to provide network connectivity in the

remote areas uncovered by GSM/3G cellular network. We had delivered
approximately 1,000 mobile satellite phone sets with SIM cards to our customers, which is very encouraging.We envisage demand for mobile satellite phones in China tocontinue growing rapidly and we have ordered an additional 2,000 mobile satellite phone sets to accommodate market demand."
The ThurayaSatSleeve, which was debuted in March 2013, is the world's first satellite adapter for iPhones. It can transform an iPhone into a dual mode satellite phone by attaching the SatSleeve to the phone, allowing the user to transmit voice signals and send text messages via satellite. In addition, the SatSleeve also functions as a battery charger.
Mr Jimmy Zhang added, "Thuraya is the first in the market to introduce the SatSleeve. We are certain its innovative and handy designwill bring convenience to many retail and enterprise users who want satellite connections available anytime."
