B-Bridge International, Inc. (B-Bridge) and Artifice Inc. (Artifice)
today unveiled ZEN VR, the future of Zen meditation. Zen meditation is
arguably one of the biggest trends today. Traditionally, Zen meditation
has been practiced in special locations that help us detach from today’s
bustling lifestyle. Using virtual reality technologies, this can now be
done anywhere and anytime. Japan-based Artifice teamed up with Silicon
Valley-based B-Bridge to launch ZEN VR, the world’s first Virtual
Reality Zen meditation application. Using their smartphones, users can
now immerse themselves in peaceful, Zen locals that were once
unattainable. Users can choose anything from a babbling brook to
forbidden Japanese temples like Chūgū-ji and Taima-dera.
"Due to today’s busy lifestyles, Zen meditation attracts many people,"
states Kōraku Daikokuji, a Shingon Mikkyo monk. "However, it is
difficult to find the right environment to properly practice this art. I
believe ZEN VR offers a unique solution to this problem."
ZEN VR continues to collaborate with many cities and municipalities in
Japan and other countries to expand its library of Zen meditation
settings. Currently, over one hundred locations around the world are in
development and are scheduled to be released by the end of the year.
Along with its biotechnology business, B-Bridge International Inc.
incubates companies interested in expanding its business from Japan to
Silicon Valley. Many companies in fields such as mobile applications,
neurotechnology sensors, and acoustic sound panels have successfully
collaborated with B-Bridge.
Artifice Inc. is a software application company in Osaka, Japan. The
company specializes in developments of Augmented Reality, Mobile
Application, PC Software and media advertisement. DIVR, the company’s
newest Virtual Reality box can be used with its compatible mobile apps,
downloadable for iPhone and Android phones.
