Blockdaemon on Wednesday said it raised $207 million in a Series C funding round, which was led by Sapphire and Tiger Global.

Existing investors, including SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Matrix Capital Management and Lerer Hippeau also participated in the round, the company said.

The blockchain infrastructure company said following the latest round it has a post-money valuation of $3.25 billion.

"This latest round accelerates the growth of Blockdaemon's complete 'node stack' product suite and Open Source Ecosystem Initiative," the company said.

The company also said it was partnering with StakeWise "to build an institutional-grade liquid staking product on the Ethereum network."

The company is also establishing a DeFi Fund "to reinvest earned assets into institutional grade DeFi offerings ," it said.
