Save the Date｜CAI and International Investment Arbitration Summit & CIIAF Annual Conference 2021 is Coming on 26 March 2021
The Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) recently negotiated successfully between China and the EU has attracted worldwide attention. The CAI will have significant impact on China-EU economy and even the global economy. It is a milestone in the development of international investment treaties, and is also closely related to the future of international investment arbitration. China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and China International Investment Arbitration Forum (CIIAF) will co-host the CAI and International Investment Arbitration Summit(Summit) on 26 March 2021 in the afternoon Beijing time.
The Summit is collaborated by the ICC International Court of Arbitration, the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Vienna International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and is co-organized by Wuhan University Law School, Wuhan University Academy of International Law and Global Governance and the Global Law Office. It is also the 2021 annual conference of CIIAF.
The Summit will be a half-day online conference, with live online broadcast. Simultaneous interpretation between Chinese and English will be provided. Please refer to the full program below for more details. We cordially invite representatives of arbitration institutions, arbitrators, lawyers, in-house counsels, scholars and friends with interest to join us in this important Summit.
