China Metallurgical : MCC Group Ranks 326th in 2015 Fortune Global 500

In the evening of July 22nd, the ranking list of the 2015 Fortune Global 500 was officially published. The China Metallurgical Group Corporation ranked 326th with an operation revenue of USD35.8075 billion, rising 28 places compared with 2014.
In the face of complex domestic and overseas situations and a market environment characterized by tight space and intensifying competition, and with a development vision of 'focusing on the main industries and building a beautiful MCC', the growth of its key business indicators against the trend and an obvious improvement in asset quality, MCC has further strengthened its capability for sustainable development, gotten rid of the title of 'difficult central enterprise' bestowed by SASAC, earned second prize in the 2014 Outstanding Contributions to the Economic Benefits of Growth Insurance Work after ranking first among central enterprises for its benefit growth in 2013, and thrown off the title of 'specially supervised SASAC enterprise'by virtue of its debt risk and raising its business performance examination level from D to B. MCC will continue to create an upgraded'Four Beams and Eight Columns' business system, make greater efforts to become the world's largest, strongest and best 'National Team'in metallurgical construction and operation services and undertake the national responsibility of constructing an internationally leading steel enterprise by virtue of its unique core technology, irreplaceable whole metallurgical industry chain advantage and consistent reformation and innovation ability.
It is reported that the total revenue of Fortune 500 enterprises has reached USD31.2 trillion, up by 0.49% compared with the previous year. However, gross profit has only reached USD1.67 trillion, showing a decrease of 14.76% compared with 2014. There are 106Chineseenterprises in the list, up by 6 enterprises from last year, putting China in second place in the world after America for quantity of ranking enterprises.
