A former member of K-pop group EXO, the superstar was born in China and returned there in 2014 to pursue a lucrative solo career.
The court in the district of Chaoyang said on its official WeChat account that from November to December 2020 Wu, quote, "took advantage of three drunken women ... at his home".
He was arrested in July 2021 after an 18-year-old Chinese student publicly accused him of plying her with liquor and luring her into having sex with him when she was 17.
Wu was an ambassador for 15 brands, including Lancome, Louis Vuitton and Porsche, before his arrest. All severed ties with him.
The Canadian embassy in Beijing did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment, though state media said its officials attended the sentencing.
The court said Wu would be deported, although lawyers in China have said that would typically take place after he has served his sentence.
