China will step up supervision of rental housing market - Vice Premier

BEIJING (Reuters) - China will improve regulations and step up supervision of the rental housing market to promote its healthy development, Vice Premier Han Zheng was quoted by state radio as saying on Thursday.

He reiterated that the country would not use the sector as a short-term economic stimulus.
