Zoom's nearly $15 billion bid to acquire contact center company Five9 was shot down Thursday, dashing a major expansion plan for a video-conferencing powerhouse that has battled scrutiny over its perceived ties to China.

Walt Disney and Scarlett Johansson have resolved their legal battle over her salary in the movie "Black Widow," the two sides said. Ms. Johansson sued Disney alleging her contract to star in the Marvel superhero movie "Black Widow" was breached when Disney decided to release the film on its Disney+ streaming service at the same time as its theatrical debut. Terms of the settlement weren't disclosed.

Several major advertisers of embattled digital-media startup Ozy Media are putting their ad campaigns on hold in the wake of a New York Times article that raised questions about the company's business practices. Ford, Airbnb, Goldman Sachs and Target are among the advertisers that have paused their campaigns, according to people familiar with the matter.
