Cineworld Group, the owner of Regal Cinemas, filed for bankruptcy Wednesday after a sluggish recovery in theater admissions fell short of the company's financial needs.

Shares of Ubisoft Entertainment fell as investors digested the implications of Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings investment, which would block a full Ubisoft takeover for now.
