Denmark has hired banks to arrange a series of fixed income meetings and investor calls starting on Oct. 3, with the aim of discussing the country's return to international markets and to provide a wider update including the domestic market, one of the mandated banks said Monday.

A short-dated EUR transaction may follow, subject to market conditions, it said.

The banks hired for the deal are BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Nordea.
