SenseTime Revives IPO Days After U.S. Investment Blacklist Forced Delay

Chinese artificial-intelligence giant SenseTime Group Inc. filed revised documents for a Hong Kong initial public offering and said it still plans to list before the end of the year, after the U.S. government moved to restrict American investors from buying its stock.

Early Monday in Hong Kong, the company said it would relaunch its IPO later the same day. It still aims to raise the equivalent of up to $767 million, with a maximum valuation of $17 billion-unchanged from its original offering plan. The company's shares will start trading on Dec. 30.

Chinese Developer Kaisa Misses Bond Payments

Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd. said Monday that it has missed payments on various senior notes and that it is in talks for a debt restructuring with bondholders.

The Chinese developer didn't make payment on a US$400 million, 6.5% senior note that matured Dec. 7 and missed out on interest payments of three other bonds.

Disney and YouTube Reach Deal, Ending Blackout

YouTube TV and Walt Disney Co. reached a deal Sunday to restore access to Disney-owned channels including ESPN and FX for YouTube TV subscribers.

The deal ended a brief blackout that began at the stroke of midnight Saturday after the carriage contract between the two companies expired. YouTube TV has more than four million subscribers, according to a person familiar with the operation.

Chinese Estates Shares Drop 31% After Proposed Privatization Falls Through

Shares of Chinese Estates (Holdings) Ltd. fell 31% on Monday after it said its proposed privatization won't proceed as it failed to receive a majority of shareholders' votes.

The Hong Kong-listed stock fell below the HK$2.90 level, where it had traded before the company disclosed its privatization offer on Oct. 7. Chinese Estates shares were last at HK$2.68.
