iShares Core 40/60 Moderate Allocation ETF
The iShares Core Moderate Allocation ETF (AOM) takes a rather prudent approach. It employs a "fund of funds" strategy, essentially acting as a financial nesting doll by holding a collection of other iShares ETFs. This setup results in a conservative allocation: 40% in global equities and 60% in global fixed income. The ETF is under the watchful eye of professional managers who ensure it stays true to this allocation by periodically rebalancing the portfolio. It relies in particular on the iShares ISHARES CORE TOTAL USD BOND MARKET (50.69%)and the ISHARES CORE S&P ETF TRUST (23%), which focus on the US market.
