On July 14, the first shop by FPT Retail in Vinh Long city was opened at 139-139C Le Thai To, ward No.2, Vinh Long.
The seventh shop at the Mekong Delta region launched by FPT Retail on July 14.
Upon opening occasion, FPT Shop Vinh Long has offered a number of promotion programs for the local consumers. Special post- sales- services would also be introduced including: complete product life cycle care, installment purchase at 0% interest rate, exchanging old items for the new one with 30% discount, and returning and changing items within one year.
Despite challenges remained in the economy, Vinh Long's growth rate was 10.2%, with GDP per capita of approximately VND 32 million in 2012. This was considered a solid foundation for FPT Retail to open its seventh shop in the Mekong Delta region.
Previously, the company had taken into operation shops in other six provinces and cities including Kien Giang , Dong Thap , Soc Trang , Can Tho , Ben Tre and Tien Giang.
