FTSE 100 Falls After Losses on Wall Street

0904 GMT - The FTSE 100 falls 0.1% to 7558 points following declines on Wall Street overnight after upbeat U.S. economic data suggested the Federal Reserve could continue raising interest rates decisively. "U.S. equities fell and Treasury yields rose on Monday as strong U.S. [ISM] service sector data raised concerns that the Federal Reserve may have to raise rates by more than expected," UBS Global Wealth Management analysts say in a note. Despite resilience in the service sectors, economic growth is likely to slow further next year as the cumulative impact of Fed rate rises weighs on activity and that may take a toll on corporate earnings, they say.
