FTSE 100 Poised to Fall After Mixed Asia, US Trading

0735 GMT - The FTSE 100 looks set to open 25 points lower at 7904 after mixed trading in Asia and on Wall Street. Markets in Australia and Japan rise, but stocks in Hong Kong, mainland China and South Korea fall. The Dow closed 0.2% lower Wednesday, though the S&P 500 and Nasdaq rose. Brent crude drops 0.1% to $82.60 a barrel. "After Fed chair Powell's testimony, U.S. macro data releases are back in focus to gauge the risk of a re-acceleration in the hiking pace," Danske Bank analysts say in a note.
