Finland's new nuclear reactor delayed again

HELSINKI (Reuters) - The start of regular electricity production at Finland's much-delayed Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) nuclear reactor has been postponed to March 18 from March 15, operator TVO said on Tuesday.

Extra checks of parts that were replaced due to cracks were also postponing the resumption of test production by four days to Feb. 14, TVO added.

"The facility supplier is still making a few extra checks at the turbine facility before electricity production continues," it said on Twitter.
