Netflix soars thanks to strong subscriber growth. The world’s largest paid online TV network is growing faster than Wall Street predicted, soothing doubts about its global prospects. Netflix also issued an upbeat outlook for the current three months. The shares soared 11 percent in premarket U.S. trading.

Danone posts weakest third-quarter sales in decade on China.

Turkey ends Eurobond dry spell with sought after $2 billion.

Diabetes war. Minnesota attacks Sanofi, Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly on insulin prices. The American states criticizes the three laboratories for unjustified price increases, which were up threefold since 2002.

Polyamides on their way out. Solvay now expects to sell its polyamide business to BASF at the beginning of 2019 and not at the end of 2018, after the German government agreed to sell assets to avoid the antitrust cut-off.
