MUNICH (Reuters) - Germany's largest industrial union struck a deal in regional talks over a pay rise for the electrical engineering and metal industries on Tuesday, signalling an end to difficult talks that saw tens of thousands of workers go on strike, the union said.

The negotiations lasted 18 hours and details of the deal will be announced at a news conference at 0930 GMT.
