Hong Kong leader says gatherings should be avoided amid spike in COVID cases

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam said on Saturday members of the public should avoid gatherings, just days ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday, as the city has seen a rapid rise in coronavirus cases.
