(Reuters) - India appointed revenue secretary Sanjay Malhotra as the governor the Reserve Bank of India for a period of three years, according to a notification from the government's cabinet appointments committee on Monday.
Malhotra takes over from Shaktikanta Das whose six-year term concludes on Tuesday.
