Italy on Wednesday hired banks for the syndicated launch of a new floating rate note, or CCTeu, with maturity in April 2029, the Italian Treasury said.
The transaction will be launched in the near future, subject to market conditions.
The banks hired for the issue are BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena and UniCredit.
