FTSE 100 Tipped to Fall Despite Upbeat Asia Trading

The FTSE 100 is expected to open 25 points lower at 7096, according to CMC Markets, despite upbeat trading in Asia. Stocks in mainland China are up 2% and markets elsewhere in the region are all in positive territory. "After the losses of last week, markets in Asia have started the week in a much more positive fashion, helped by the Friday recovery in European and U.S. markets, but as ever the mood still remains cautious," CMC's Michael Hewson says.
