Mauritius ecconomy to grow by 5% this year after contraction, IMF says

NAIROBI (Reuters) - Mauritius' economy is expected to recover this year, with growth forecast at about 5% after contracting by 15%, the International Monetary Fund said.

Tourism flows in the Indian Ocean island nation were expected to slowly resume in the second half of the year while exports would strengthen in line with global demand, it said in a statement on Thursday.
