FTSE 100 Seen Opening Little Changed

0646 GMT - The FTSE 100 is seen starting little changed as investors react to the latest headlines in the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Spreadbetting firm IG expects the London index to open 1 point higher. Russia said it would scale down military operations around Kyiv and Chernihiv in Ukraine. "The de-escalation gave a sigh of relief to investors, although many, including [U.S. President] Joe Biden remain skeptical regarding the pullback from Kyiv, that could be 'limited and tactical'," Swissquote Bank analyst Ipek Ozkardeskaya says in a note.
