PayPal Holdings Inc. named HP Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Enrique Lores to its board.
Mr. Lores's appointment, which went into effect Tuesday, will bring the number of board members to 12 from 11, the company said.
He has served in the top roles at HP since November 2019 and has spent more than 30 years with HP holding various senior roles across its personal systems, print, industrial and services businesses in many different regions.
"Enrique is a proven leader with deep experience at the highest levels of the technology industry, and his product and operational expertise will be invaluable to PayPal as we continue to expand our leadership position in this new digital era," PayPal President and CEO Dan Schulman said.
Mr. Lores is also on the boards of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and the ESADE Business School in Spain.
