Shyft leverages Workforce Dimensions by Kronos to help companies reduce unstaffed shifts and turnover

Shyft today announces a partnership with Kronos that integrates its mobile-first workforce management platform with the comprehensive Workforce Dimensions solution by Kronos. The integration combines Shyft’s mobile shift swapping, schedule management, and communication capabilities with the next-generation suite of workforce management tools from Kronos. The integration will help companies further reduce unfilled shifts, improve turnover, and save managers more time. The collaboration is a continuation of the relationship between Shyft and Kronos.

“With our focus on AI and real-time schedule management, Shyft’s forward-thinking technology is the perfect complement to Workforce Dimensions,” said Daniel Chen, chief technology officer at Shyft. “In addition to Shyft’s engaging, mobile-first UX, our suite of products enable brands to comply with predictable scheduling legislation and results in reduced absenteeism and employee turnover.”

Shyft is an application available on mobile and desktop devices that allows frontline workers to post shifts they need covered, pick up extra shifts, access their schedule, communicate with team members, and more. Through the partnership, organizations that deploy an integration with Shyft and Workforce Dimensions will benefit from real-time data sharing between both systems. The integration will streamline and accelerate scheduling, time-off requests, and employee engagement.

“Workforce Dimensions is built on a completely open and extensible platform, enabling innovative integrations with partners, including Shyft, that empower employees to work in ways that simply are not possible with legacy solutions,” said Mike May, senior director, Workforce Dimensions Technology Partner Network, Kronos. “By providing a great technology experience for today’s mobile enabled workers with Shyft, our solution not only drives user adoption, it also helps organizations engage and retain their workforce.”

Workforce Dimensions by Kronos is a next-generation workforce management solution, delivering artificial intelligence woven into the foundation of the solution, real-time analytics to drive in-the-moment decision making, and a fully responsive user experience. The solution empowers employees and managers with the most engaging experience possible. The open application programming interface framework of Kronos D5 makes it quick and simple for customers to extend the value of their workforce management investment with innovative and tightly integrated partner applications that drive user adoption.
