WARSAW, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Swedish power grid will perform checks on the 600 megawatt (MW) Sweden-Poland undersea cable which crosses the damaged Nord Stream pipelines, Polish grid operator PSE said on Friday.

"Our Swedish colleagues decided that they need to verify if no harm has been done to their section of the cable and they will do it next week," PSE spokesman Maciej Wapinski said.

The line was halted for maintenance last month. (Reporting by Marek Strzelecki; editing by Jason Neely)
