BANGKOK, July 30 (Reuters) - Thailand's manufacturing production index (MPI) in June rose for a fourth straight month, up 17.58% from a year earlier, boosted by higher production of autos, electronics and steel, the industry ministry said on Friday.

The reading, coming off a low base last year, compared with a forecast for an increase of 18.8% in a Reuters poll and May's revised 25.73% jump.
