In a recent interview. Julian David, CEO of TechUK, spoke of the boom in the UK's technology sector, which has grown by a staggering 25% in 10 years.

With Keir Starmer and his government coming to power, there are plans for reform and investment, particularly in planning. David mentioned the reconsideration of two planning permissions for data centres, which were initially refused, underlining the importance attributed to the technology sector.

The government has expressed its intention to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in the health and education sectors, which seems to present promising prospects for the sector, although the details of implementation have yet to be worked out.

Finally, David stressed the need to attract world-class talent while developing skills within the country.
