Investors seems to have returned to caution amid turmoil around the US monetary policy, tensions in Ukraine and earnings season.

Banking shares, including Standard Chartered, Barclays and Prudential are weighing on the FTSE 100, while energy shares tracked higher oil prices.

Investors are now focusing on U.S. PCE to see if inflation is peaking.
