The general rebound in emerging market equities with Latin-American stocks boosted by greater than expected GDP forecasts in Brazil, had a positive impact on ESG ETFs. Of the top performing ESG ETFs for the week of July 12 to 18, the “best-in-class” portfolio construction approach represented half of the list. In Europe, the best performing ESG ETF of the week was the Xtrackers MSCI EM Latin America Swap UCITS ETF, returning 3.78%. In North America, the best performing ESG ETF was the iShares Indice Carbono Eficiente Brasil ETF, returning 4.28%.
