Britain's ETC Group is expanding their crypto offering to 9 products in December 2021 with 5 new exchange-traded cryptocurrencies (ETCs). The 5 new additions will list on the Deutsche Borse's Xetra and will focus on "altcoins", smaller cryptocurrencies that have gained popularity on social media fueled rallies. The new crypto ETCs include Polkadot (Ticker: PLKA), Solana (Ticker: ESOL), Stellar (Ticker: STLR), Tezos (Ticker: EXTZ) and Cardano (Ticker: RDAN).

Cryptocurrency ETPs have exploded this year with over $8.5 billion in inflows as "herd bias" and "FOMO" creeped into institutional and individual investment mindset. The total cryptocurrency market cap reached all-time high of $3 trillion in November, weeks after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission gave green light to the first Bitcoin-linked ETF "BITO ETF" to trade in U.S. markets.
