U.S. CDC reports 269,763 deaths from coronavirus

Dec 2 (Reuters) - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday reported 13,626,022 cases of the new coronavirus, an increase of 178,395 from its previous count, and said the number of deaths had risen by 2,461 to 269,763.

The CDC reported its tally of cases of the respiratory illness known as COVID-19, caused by a new coronavirus, as of 4 p.m. ET on Dec. 1 versus its previous report a day earlier.(https://bit.ly/36xcGrN)
